Hey! We’re Liam (a failed footballer) and Marcos (a failed actor). Yep, you read that right.

We’re two storytellers who met on the set of a short back in 2016. It was one of those rare, effortless collaborations that felt like it was meant to be, and we knew we owed it to the world to start a business together.

After years of gruelling long hours, low pay, and poor working conditions in the film industry, we were determined to do things differently. We didn’t just want to start another production company, we wanted to create a space where everyone would be treated fairly, regardless of their status or seniority. And so, Lightwell was born.

At the core of what we do is our deep love for storytelling. Whether it’s a movie night at home or a conversation at the pub, we believe that stories are how people connect.
